Privacy Policy

Last updated: [[LAST UPDATED]]

This page explains what data is processed when you visit blindinsights.net and on what legal basis. It follows the structure of the EU General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR / DSGVO).

Controller

The controller for processing personal data on this site is the operator listed in the Imprint.

What data is processed when you visit

The site is a static, content-only publication. We do not run sign-up forms, comment systems or third-party widgets on this domain. When you load a page, your browser sends technical request data that our hosting provider records in standard server logs:

  • IP address (anonymised / truncated where possible)
  • Date and time of the request
  • Requested URL and HTTP response code
  • Referring URL, browser user-agent

Legal basis: Art. 6 (1) (f) GDPR — our legitimate interest in operating a stable, secure website and defending against abuse. Logs are kept only for the period our hosting provider needs them for these purposes and are not used for tracking individual readers.

Hosting (Cloudflare Pages)

This site is hosted by Cloudflare on the Cloudflare Pages platform (Cloudflare, Inc., 101 Townsend St., San Francisco, CA 94107, USA; EU representative: Cloudflare Germany GmbH, Rosental 7, 80331 Munich). Cloudflare processes request data on our behalf as a processor under Art. 28 GDPR.

Cloudflare may transfer data to the United States. Such transfers are covered by the EU-US Data Privacy Framework and Cloudflare's standard contractual clauses; see Cloudflare's own privacy documentation for details.

Analytics

Analytics currently used on this site: [[ANALYTICS-TOOL ODER 'keine']]

If a privacy-respecting tool such as Cloudflare Web Analytics is enabled later, it works without cookies and without storing personal identifiers. We will update this section before enabling anything that goes beyond aggregate, anonymous statistics.

Cookies

The site does not set marketing or tracking cookies. Only strictly necessary, technical cookies may be set by the hosting infrastructure (for example, anti-abuse tokens by Cloudflare). These do not require consent under § 25 (2) TTDSG / TDDDG.

Your rights

You have the following rights under the GDPR:

  • Right of access (Art. 15)
  • Right to rectification (Art. 16)
  • Right to erasure (Art. 17)
  • Right to restriction of processing (Art. 18)
  • Right to data portability (Art. 20)
  • Right to object (Art. 21)
  • Right to lodge a complaint with a supervisory authority (Art. 77)

Contact for data-protection requests
